Ulli Visits Tepoztlán

As do many tourists, Ulli enjoyed visiting Mexico. After enjoying exploring beaches for a few months, she wanted to be at a cooler place and heard about Tepoztlán. I met her at the Friday organic market at the EKKO Hostel and we became close friends.

I love seeing the town that I have lived in since 2003 with the fresh eyes of first time visitors. Here is an earlier blog about a visitor I hosted.

During her three short weeks, we went to the Boy Scout Camp, to the Deer Park, and to different restaurant and club venues.

Boy Scout Camp

Ulli and I hiked over to Meztitla, the Boy Scout Camp, so that I could get some photos I used in the previous month's article.

The Deer Park

The Deer Park has one of my favorite local trails because it is easy hiking, beautiful, and features a running cascade during the rainy season. Of course I had to take Ulli there.

Other Tepoztlán Venues

There's a lot to do and see in Tepoztlán. One of the several restaurants we visited was La Miga, specializing in French cuisine.

Before Ulli Leaves

Since so many of my friends enjoyed Ulli's presence, I had a going away party here a few nights before her flight.
